Therm-a-Rest built the Trekker Lounge around elastic sleeve edges that wrap securely around most standard 20 or 25-inch self-inflating or NeoAir mattress pads, transforming what you already carry into something you will want to spend the whole evening in. The lightweight fiberglass and nylon pole frame supports a fully reclining position without adding meaningful weight or bulk to the kit, packing down to just 4 by 20 inches for the 20-inch version and 6 by 21 inches for the 25-inch. At 10 or 13 ounces depending on size, the Trekker Lounge is the easiest justification for a more comfortable camp, a small addition to the load that pays dividends every time you make it back before dark with tired legs and a full evening ahead.
