Roval developed the Control II alongside the Epic 9, using Specialized's Body Geometry fit database to refine the bar and stem geometry from the ground up. The result shifts meaningfully from the original Control's race-flat position: more rise, more upsweep, and a less aggressive stem angle make this cockpit livable for long days without giving up snap on short, punchy climbs.
