The Ripley SL XT Di2 Carbon Wheel Mountain Bike from Ibis is built for riders who want elite-level efficiency with a refined, trail-capable feel. Designed and manufactured in California, this lightweight carbon bike blends race-inspired responsiveness with modern geometry that thrives on demanding singletrack.
With 117mm of dw-link rear travel paired to a 130mm fork, the Ripley SL pedals with urgency while remaining calm and controlled through rough sections of trail. The suspension delivers excellent traction under power, keeping climbs efficient and predictable, while the balanced geometry provides confidence when speeds increase.
Upgraded carbon wheels elevate the ride, delivering faster acceleration, improved responsiveness, and reduced rotational weight. Shimano XT Di2 electronic shifting ensures precise gear changes in all conditions, while powerful 4-piston brakes offer consistent control on long descents. Ibis Cycles started in 1981 when founder Scot Nicol opened a tiny workshop near Mendocino, California, with no big plan beyond building mountain bikes that were fun to ride and tough enough for the rough stuff. Today, from its home base in Santa Cruz, Ibis remains a small, rider-owned company focused on doing a few things really well: designing carbon and aluminum mountain bikes that climb efficiently, descend playfully, and feel lively every time you point them down the trail.
