The Ripley SL Mountain Bike Frame from Ibis is built for riders who chase efficiency but still want to ride aggressively when the trail turns technical. At the heart of the Ripley SL is 117mm of dw-link rear travel, tuned to deliver exceptional pedaling efficiency while staying active and composed over roots, rocks, and fast corners. The frame is designed around a 130mm fork to balance quick handling with added front-end confidence, and modern geometry keeps the ride stable without feeling sluggish on climbs.

Ibis Cycles started in 1981 when founder Scot Nicol opened a tiny workshop near Mendocino, California, with no big plan beyond building mountain bikes that were fun to ride and tough enough for the rough stuff. Today, from its home base in Santa Cruz, Ibis remains a small, rider-owned company focused on doing a few things really well: designing carbon and aluminum mountain bikes that climb efficiently, descend playfully, and feel lively every time you point them down the trail.
