Helinox built the Royal Box around their proprietary DAC aluminum alloy frame with color-coded shock-corded poles that lock into place quickly and grab loops that make attaching the edge poles straightforward, even solo. The 75D polyester ripstop shade fabric carries SPF 50+ protection and holds up to the kind of sustained sun exposure that comes with a full day outside. Roll up one or both sides and secure them with toggles for an open-air feel when the breeze is cooperative, or run the included guy lines and J-stakes to anchor the shelter and widen your stable footprint on windier days. The whole thing packs into a 26-inch tote with a webbing handle that slips easily into the back of the car alongside the cooler and the chairs.
