I have two pairs of the trailhead pants and now four pairs of the shorts. The comfort and stretch is unbeatable. I wore the shorts mountain biking and they kept me comfortable and cool. One of the underrated aspects is how large and deep the pockets are. The one downside is that with extended (hundreds of uses) wear, there is a bit of pilling that occurs. I’ll be buying more.

I wear these shorts all the time for everything. I bought them for rock climbing but they’re nice enough looking and comfortable so I wear them around the house, out around town, while coaching kids baseball practice, literally anything you can wear shorts to. I’m 6’3” ish and 190lbs and the large fits perfectly.

I'm pretty sure Coalatree discovered the perfect combination of ingredients for their Trailhead Shorts and Trailhead Pants. I love the material, the durability, the comfort and the colors. The deep pockets are great for us pack rats. And I also really appreciate that even though they have an elastic waistband, but belt loops too. I hate not being able to wear a belt!
