If you ride park and want presses, spins, and jibbing, softer flexes (around 1–3) give forgiveness and make buttering easier. Stiffer boards in the 8–10 range provide the stability and pop you want for high-speed carving and larger jumps.

Rocker and volume-shifted shapes favor deep snow by boosting float, while full camber offers pop and consistent edge hold on hardpack.
