Men's Black Rashguards

Short sleeves suit surfing, paddling, and waterskiing when you need shoulder mobility, while long sleeves give maximum sun coverage and extra warmth for fishing or cooler waters. Coolibar and other UPF 50+ options block about 98% of UVA/UVB rays, and sizes from XS to XXL let you pick a fitted or looser surf tee to match the activity.

If you're layering under a wetsuit, pick a fitted compression rashguard sized to your body measurements to avoid restriction; models like the Billabong Pro Fire are built for that snug, performance fit. Follow the brand size chart because men's-specific geometry often has longer torsos and secure hems that change how a compression piece feels.

Many training swim shirts use polyester-elastane blends that are quick-drying and designed to resist chlorine, and Speedo swim shirts are noted for chlorine resistance in repeated pool use. High-quality swim shirts can offer chlorine resistance up to about 1000 hours while still maintaining stretch and fit.

Thinner 1.5mm thermal vests add light warmth with minimal bulk, while 3mm versions provide noticeably more insulation for cooler water or longer sessions. Single-layer construction and stretchy poly-elastane blends keep mobility high so you gain warmth without feeling overly thick.

Features like flatlock seams and anti-chafe hems reduce irritation, and rubbery grip strips on hems help keep shirts from riding up during active paddling or surfing. Hooded styles sometimes include zip pockets for small-item security, and finished seams make all-day wear more comfortable.
