SphereLock is a unique design feature of our carabiner that shapes the nose and gate interface to create a smoother connection. This design minimizes the chances of snagging on other gear, making it easier and safer to clip and unclip while climbing. With SphereLock, you can focus more on your climb and less on potential gear issues.

The Keylock Nose design eliminates sharp edges and protrusions on the carabiner's nose, which helps prevent snagging on ropes, webbing, or other gear. This means you can clip and unclip more smoothly, reducing the risk of accidental openings or entanglements, ultimately enhancing your safety while climbing.

Major Axis Strength refers to the maximum force (22kN) that the carabiner can withstand when the load is applied along its strongest axis. This measurement is crucial for ensuring durability and safety during climbing, as it indicates that the carabiner is designed to handle significant weight and stress in the direction it is intended to be used.

Minor Axis Strength indicates how much force (7kN) the carabiner can withstand when the load is applied perpendicular to its major axis. While this strength is lower than the major axis strength, it highlights the importance of using the carabiner correctly. Always ensure that loads are applied along the major axis for optimal safety.

Open Gate Strength measures the force (9kN) that the carabiner can handle when the gate is not fully closed.
