Talon Hook

The Talon Hook is a versatile 3-in-1 aid climbing hook built for hooking holes, cracks, and edges during aid/direct aid on granite, and it’s also used for canyoning, speleology, new route exploration, and scaling walls or buildings.

Its three differing blades fit placements from about 4.8 mm (3/16 in) up to 13 mm (≈1/2 in), giving multiple hooking options in a single tool.

The Talon Hook has a center hole sized for a 9/16-inch (14–15 mm) tubular webbing sling (sling sold separately) for attaching runners or slings.

It performs best on granite and in visible hook placements; avoid blind placements and soft rock like sandstone, and do not rely on it as primary protection.
