Forty years ago, a crew of Colorado misfits sparked something big in mountain biking—fast bikes, raw talent, and that unmistakable Turq paint. The ASR 40th Anniversary T85 is a tribute to those roots and a showcase of what happens when Yeti goes all-in. Crafted in limited numbers—just 200 individually numbered bikes—the ASR 40th is built to climb like a featherweight and descend like a dream, wrapped in custom details that echo the golden age of Yeti racing.

Beneath the anniversary livery lies a modern XC rocket: a 115mm TURQ carbon frame paired with a 130mm FOX Factory 34 SL fork and FLOAT SL rear shock, both finished with silver hardware exclusive to this build. SRAM’s XX Eagle Transmission and Ultimate brakes are fully customized with 3D Violet accents, while the Chris King headset and bottom bracket anchor the build with precision and polish. Maxxis Forekaster tires get custom turquoise hot patches, ODI revives their Speed grips from the original molds, and DT Swiss delivers an ultra-light XMC 1200 SPLINE wheelset that’s both race-day fast and retro-true.
