Race-specific 160E e-MTB with Sixfinity suspension and EP8 power for elite performance
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I’ve been blown away by how composed this build feels when the trail gets steep and chaotic. The Sixfinity suspension stays supportive under power but opens up when things get rough, and the GX AXS Transmission shifts flawlessly even under load. With 170mm up front and serious braking power from the Maven Bronzes, it’s the bike I grab for park days and big mountain missions where backing off isn’t part of the plan."
When we push into race pace territory, the 160E isn’t just adding power—it’s adding composure. Yeti built this platform from the ground up as a purpose-driven e-MTB, engineered specifically for the speed, weight, and sustained demands of competitive riding. Sixfinity suspension isn’t adapted from a pedal bike—it’s tuned to manage motor torque, higher velocities, and repeated impacts without sacrificing traction or agility.
With 160mm of rear travel, Sixfinity runs 100% anti-squat at sag and a reduced 65% anti-rise to maintain efficiency while improving braking stability under load. The adjustable leverage rate gives us three progression settings, allowing us to fine-tune bottom-out support without altering geometry. Shimano’s EP8 motor delivers up to 85Nm of torque, paired with a 630Wh battery for consistent output lap after lap. Dual 29in wheels maximize rollover speed and grip, while short chainstays—enabled by the compact Infinity link—keep handling sharp and responsive. Clean internal routing and adaptable cable management support wireless, mechanical, or moto-style brake setups. This is an e-MTB built to stay composed the faster we go.
Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning-and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.

Hand Built, Race Bred Since 1985
Yeti Cycles was founded in the early days of mountain biking, when the sport was still finding its identity. From the start, racing shaped everything—every frame, every innovation, every ride. Known for no-frills bikes built for core riders, Yeti quickly earned a reputation for cutting-edge, race-specific designs that pushed the boundaries of geometry, suspension, and materials. The brand’s legendary factory teams produced some of the sport’s most iconic champions, while fueling constant product innovation. Guided by the mantra “Hand Built, Race Bred,” Yeti continues to honor its racing roots while building bikes it wants to ride—fast, capable, and made for riders who live to push limits.
