When we’re out on a frosty morning ski, the Swix Star XC 3.0 Split Mitten is the solution to the age-old glove versus mitten debate. By splitting the index finger from the rest, Swix gives us control for our ski poles while keeping our fingers together for lasting warmth. It’s a hybrid design that lets us ski longer, harder, and in total comfort.

The four-way stretch lycra upper flexes naturally as we move, while PrimaLoft insulation ensures warmth without adding bulk. A synthetic leather palm with reinforced pads holds up to hours of poling, and an articulated thumb with a gusset provides an easy, natural grip. Finished with Swix’s Combi Cuff—neoprene on top and soft acrylic on the palm side—these mitts slip on securely and keep the cold out while we keep gliding.
