The Specialized Thorn-Resistant Schrader Valve Tube helps keep those moments from ruining the day, giving us added protection when our routes run through rough trails, goathead-filled paths, or debris-strewn shoulders.

Specialized designed the Thorn-Resistant Schrader Valve Tube with a smarter construction that thickens the rubber on the outer side where punctures usually occur. This added layer helps stop thorns and sharp objects before they reach the air chamber. On the rim side, the tube is slightly thinner to keep weight reasonable and maintain a responsive ride feel, striking a balance between flat protection and everyday performance.
