The Shuttle AMP'd Ride hardwires its SRAM GX Eagle Transmission directly into the Avinox drive system, cutting the standalone derailleur battery out of the equation entirely. That connection unlocks SmoothShift, which smooths out shifts under load and lets us shift while coasting instead of pedaling through the mechanism. If the main battery runs dry, a partitioned reserve keeps the derailleur alive so shifting never stops working mid-ride.
