What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
“I’ve ridden the Firebird on steep, technical trails where speed and control matter most, and this build hits a sweet spot. The dw-link suspension stays composed when things get rough, while the Eagle 70/90 drivetrain keeps shifting precise under load. It’s a bike that pedals better than expected on the way up and feels absolutely planted when it’s time to let it run.”
When the trail turns steep, technical, and fast, the Firebird Ride Eagle 70/90 MX feels right at home. Designed by Pivot Cycles for riders who want to push deeper into aggressive terrain, this build blends confident geometry with suspension that stays calm when the trail gets rowdy. From long climbs to full-speed descents, the Firebird balances efficiency and control in a way that encourages bigger lines and later braking points.
At its core is Pivot Cycles’ dw-link suspension platform, delivering 165mm of rear travel paired with a 170mm fork for a ride that stays active under braking and responsive through rough sections. The mixed-wheel configuration enhances rollover up front while keeping the rear end quick and maneuverable, and adjustable geometry lets riders fine-tune handling for different trails. With durable components and trail-ready features like in-frame storage and frame protection, this Firebird build is made for riders who want to ride harder, longer, and faster.
Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning-and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
