Cuff Rope Wrist Camera Strap keeps our shooting hand free and camera close
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I wore the Cuff Rope Wrist Camera Strap for a full day of street shooting and barely noticed it was there. It cinched up immediately when I fumbled a grab between shots, then loosened right back down. The aluminum stopper is a small detail that makes a big difference — I dialed my loop size once and never touched it again."
Camera wrist straps usually fail in one of two ways — they're either so stiff they cut off circulation or so loose they offer no real security. The Peak Design Cuff Rope Wrist Camera Strap splits the difference with a custom-woven rope that has enough give to stay comfortable across a full day of shooting and enough structure to hold firm when your grip slips. We reach for it on days when a full neck strap feels like too much commitment — street photography, quick hikes, or anywhere we want our camera close but our shoulders free.
The slip adjuster cinches the loop down the moment tension is applied, so a dropped camera arrests fast. When you're back in control, the anodized aluminum stopper lets you return the loop to your preferred size with one hand. The low-profile connectors attach to any camera with a strap lug, and because they share the same connection system as every other Peak Design strap, they swap between bodies without tools.

Making The Best Things
In 2010, founder Peter Dering took a trip around the world and learned that carrying a big camera kind of sucked. He quit his job, designed a better way to carry a camera, and launched it on Kickstarter. It was a hit.
