Patagonia built this one with the stretchy, air-permeable Nano-Air fabric mountaineers trust in the mountains, brought down into a relaxed, cropped hoody that dumps heat when you're moving and holds it when you slow down.

The 60g FullRange insulation keeps things warm without bulk, and a snap closure placket reinforced with grosgrain tape locks out cold air fast. A three-piece sweatshirt-style hood cinches down with a drawcord for extra warmth, two front pockets and a zippered chest pocket keep hands and essentials secure, and drawcords at the straight hem let you dial in the fit.
