When the trail turns muddy, and the brush soaks through everything in its path, we rely on protection that won’t slow us down. The Helium UL Gaiter by Outdoor Research is built for fast-moving days in wet, debris-strewn terrain, sealing out grit while staying light enough to forget it’s there.

We move confidently through rain-soaked singletrack and loose scree thanks to the waterproof, breathable Pertex Shield NetPlus 2.5-layer fabric, made from recycled fishing nets. It keeps moisture from creeping in while allowing heat to escape during long climbs. The low-profile design layers smoothly over trail runners or lightweight boots, and the double-stitched hook-and-loop front closure with an offset top hook makes on-trail adjustments simple. A durable Hypalon instep strap secures the fit underfoot, and the drawcord at the top seals out trail debris when conditions get messy.
