Merrell built the Moab 3 around a hybrid leather and mesh upper that breathes on warm approaches while standing up to the abrasion of granite and sandstone alike. Underfoot, a Kinetic Fit insole contours to the shape of your foot, and an Air Cushion midsole absorbs the repetitive impact of long miles so your legs have more left at the end of the day. The Vibram TC5 sole with 5mm lugs grips wet roots and slick rock with the kind of confidence that lets you stop thinking about your feet and start thinking about the view. A nylon shank adds torsional stability on uneven ground, and a protective toe cap takes the edge off those inevitable rock strikes. One hundred percent recycled laces and webbing round out a shoe that works as hard for the trail as it does.
