This harness owes its light weight to Mammut's innovative Split Webbing technology that splits one piece of webbing in two sections to distribute your body's pressure evenly throughout the entire harness without using additional materials. This also allows for ventilation and breathability throughout the waist and legs so you barely feel this harness while you climb and ski.
The Zephir Altitude also features durable Dyneema webbing constructed in the leg loops that gives it similar protection to those bulky and heavy harnesses. A click-buckle at the waist lets you quickly put on or take off this harness in critical moments on the mountain. You can adjust the legs to an ideal fit regardless of how many layers you have on, and clips at the legs and backside allow drop-seat functionality. Additionally, the Zephir Altitude can be easily worn under a backpack with a hip belt, making it a highly versatile and dependable piece to have in your gear-quiver.
