Women's Triathlon One-Piece

Sleeveless suits maximize arm mobility for swimming and are ideal when aerodynamics matter, while sleeved aero models add sun protection and UPF 50+ coverage on shoulders and back. If you race in open water and want minimal drag, a sleeveless Speedo race-oriented cut often suits shorter, faster efforts.

Zipper placement changes how quickly you can get in and out and where the suit ventilates; front zippers speed transitions and make mid-race adjustments simpler. Rear zips keep the front smooth for swimming and enhance torso compression, and models like Zone3 offer front-zip accessibility for racers who prioritize quick exits.

They're best suited to sprint and Olympic distances because the streamlined, body-conforming design minimizes drag and competitors rarely need bathroom breaks during those events. The shorts use a thin chamois pad positioned to prevent chafing on the bike and run while keeping the overall fit low-profile.

A one-piece should fit snugly across the shoulders without restricting arm movement, since poor shoulder fit can hinder your swim stroke and comfort. Look for flatlock seams and four-way stretch fabrics with elastane for good recovery and reduced chafe, and confirm the torso sits comfortably because there’s no waistband to redistribute pressure.

Look for a thin, race-oriented chamois that prevents chafing without adding bulk, plus flatlock seam construction to minimize irritation during long efforts. Pay attention to chlorine resistance and colorfastness ratings for training durability, and many durable options from TYR and Speedo emphasize flatlock seams and resilient four-way stretch fabrics.
