Infant Sweatshirts

Size up slightly since infant sizing often runs small to accommodate diapers and movement; that extra room also lets kids layer. Look at garments with raglan sleeves or relaxed geometry to keep full arm mobility without feeling tight.

Machine-wash cold and tumble-dry low when care labels allow, since many styles are designed to be machine-washable and shrink-resistant. Choosing cotton-blend or fleece pieces with reinforced seams and double-needle stitching helps them keep shape through frequent washing.

Yes, fleece and hoodies are great for cozy indoor-outdoor use and short walks because they trap warmth without being bulky. The North Face infant hoodies, for example, offer durable softness and come in sizes meant for easy layering on breezy days.

A hoodie is ideal if you want extra warmth and features like a cozy hood or kangaroo pocket, while a crewneck works well for simple layering and easy on-off. Raglan-cut sweatshirts are a smart pick when freedom of movement matters, especially for active toddlers.

Reinforced seams and double-needle stitching improve longevity, so look for those construction details if durability matters. Brands like Bella+Canvas and Carter's use soft cotton blends and sturdy builds that hold up to regular wear and washing.
