Infant Blue Sandals

Measure your child’s foot and leave about a thumb’s width (roughly 1/2 inch) of extra room so toes can grow and wiggle. Fasten the straps or closures snugly so the sandal stays on without pinching as they move.

For water use, pick sandals with EVA footbeds and rubber outsoles or neoprene uppers since those materials dry quickly and resist salt and chlorine. A grippy rubber sole helps prevent slips on wet surfaces while remaining lightweight.

If your child is just learning to walk, choose sandals with flexible, thin rubber soles that let toes bend and feel the ground for balance. Soft leather or lightweight synthetic uppers can offer gentle support without adding bulk.

For leather straps, wipe with a damp cloth and condition sparingly to keep them supple and prevent cracking. Synthetics and EVA footbeds clean well with mild soap and water; rinse, reshape, and air-dry away from direct heat.

Opt for a durable rubber outsole and a supportive EVA footbed combined with well-stitched synthetic uppers to handle rough play. Secure closures and slightly reinforced toe areas also help protect the sandal and extend its usable life.
