Infant White Gloves & Mittens

Mittens are great when you want simple warmth and easier dressing; thumbless or thumb-free geometry keeps small hands less restricted and works well for cuddly infants. Gloves provide finger separation for better dexterity, while fleece-lined thumbless mittens are a good option for mild outdoor walks.

Anti-scratch mittens with scratch-proof linings are designed for indoor use and help reduce skin irritation for babies in the 0–6 month range. Look for soft organic cotton or bamboo-cotton blends and machine-washable designs to keep them clean and comfortable.

Waterproof snow mitts like Stonz are built for wet snow and commonly pair a waterproof outer with a minky fleece outer and cotton lining for sizes covering 0–24 months. Many snow models also include insulation and reinforced palms to provide warmth and durability during active play.

Check age-based sizing ranges such as 0–6 months up to 18–24 months and focus on cuff fit rather than exact hand measurements, since adjustable elastic wrists and Velcro straps extend the usable life. Thumbless mitten shapes and stretchy, ergonomic designs help avoid bulkiness while preserving hand movement.

Pick mittens made from OEKO-TEX certified organic cotton or bamboo-cotton blends for breathable, safer fabrics and seek no-PFA treatments when possible, plus reinforced palms for longevity. Brands like Patagonia (the Baby Pita Pocket with 60g insulation and a water-repellent finish) and Goumi Kids (bamboo-cotton with Velcro adjustability) illustrate how insulation, water resistance, and machine-washable construction affect care and durability.
