Girls' Blue Wetsuits

Match the suit thickness to water temps: 3/2mm is a good starting point for waters around 60°F and up, 4/3mm works for temps near 52°F and up, and 5/4/3mm or 5/4mm hoods are better as you approach sub-50°F conditions. Billabong's Synergy series is a good example of advanced insulation if she needs season-spanning warmth.

Measure height, weight, and chest against the youth-specific sizing chart and aim for a snug but non-binding fit to prevent flushing and chafing. Roxy girls' fullsuits are styled and cut for youth shapes, so checking their size guide helps if she likes bikini compatibility and added mobility.

Hooded fullsuits add critical warmth when water drops toward the 45–50°F range, where 5/4/3mm or 5/4mm hooded options become sensible. For teens in cooler waves, generic hooded 4/3mm models from Jack's can provide extra coverage while keeping flexibility.

Shorty springsuits and lightweight 1–2mm styles are best for summer surfing or beach play above about 70 degrees, offering more mobility and less insulation. These designs often include rapid-dry linings and high-flex arm/leg panels so movement stays unrestricted.

Neoprene quality, glued-and-blind-stitched seams, and reinforced knees extend a suit's life while 50+ UPF linings protect from sun exposure. Look for stretch ratings like 250% superflex neoprene and features such as synergy thermal tech or reinforced panels for a balance of warmth, flexibility, and durability.
