Girls' Orange Ski Pants & Bibs

Ski bibs give fuller coverage and higher waterproofing for all-day resort use and variable weather, with features like suspenders and boot gaiters to keep snow out. Powder bibs such as the Powder Town Bib Pant - Kids' are designed for deep snow and reinforced panels that help with flotation and durability.

For colder resort days, aim toward heavier insulation in the 200g range for sustained warmth, while 40g pieces or thinner layers suit milder play. The North Face Freedom Bib offers 200g insulation and stretch for added warmth without restricting movement.

Focus on inseam length and hip room rather than boot size, and choose styles with adjustable waists or shoulder straps to extend wear through growth spurts. Many options come in youth sizes 2T–14 or adult-style XS–XXL, and features like adjustable suspenders give extra length without sacrificing fit.

Look for 10K–20K waterproof ratings and 10K–15K breathability paired with fully seam-taped construction and a waterproof-breathable membrane like a Gore-Tex equivalent. Also consider PFAS-free DWR finishes and reinforced ankles or scuff guards to keep wet snow and abrasion from shortening the pant's life.

Stretch ski pants offer more mobility for active kids, and models like the Obermeyer Jr Maya Stretch Ski Pant use 4-way stretch fabric with articulated knees and a seat gusset to let them move freely. The combination of stretch, inner leg vents, and reinforced hems helps them stay comfortable during a full day of downhill play.
