Girls' Snow Pants

Bibs give better snow exclusion and full coverage, so they’re well suited to skiing and snowboarding on the slopes. Models like the Pinnacle Bib offer internal boot gaiters and sealed seams for extra protection and are a smart pick for resort days.

Insulation levels range from 40g–120g, and heavier fills (around 60g or more) are better for deep powder or frequent falls. The North Face Freedom Insulated Pant is an example of a warmer option built for more intense, cold-weather use.

Sizing for youth runs a bit wide to accommodate layers, so plan for room for a midlayer and let the adjustable hems and waistbands absorb growth. Articulated knees and pre-curved legs also help maintain mobility even when kids wear thicker base layers.

Waterproof and breathability ratings matter because they balance staying dry and avoiding sweat buildup during active play; look for 10K–15K waterproof ratings and breathability up to 10K g/m²/24hr for all-around protection. Taped critical seams and DWR coatings add real-world water resistance on wet days.

Reinforced knees, hems, and scuff guards prolong life when kids crawl, sled, or crash, and sealed seams help keep moisture out. Fabrics with 4-way stretch nylon or polyester and hook-and-loop adjustments, like those on the Kamik Winkie Insulated Bib, combine toughness with comfortable movement.
