Yellow Complete Enduro Full Suspension Bikes

Mullet setups combine a 29-inch front for roll-over and a 27.5-inch rear for agility, making them a versatile choice used on models like the Specialized Enduro and Canyon Strive CFR. If you ride tight, technical trails or are shorter you may prefer full 27.5 wheels for quicker handling, while full 29ers favor speed and efficiency in race-oriented terrain.

Enduro bikes commonly run 150–180mm up front and 140–170mm in the rear to absorb big hits, drops, and repeated compressions. That travel range helps maintain control on steep descents while still allowing reasonable climbing efficiency.

Slack head tube angles around 63–65 degrees give better downhill stability, whereas seat tube angles of 76–78 degrees help place you over the pedals for climbing. Longer reach, such as the 480mm example on the Yeti SB160 in size large, stretches the rider into a stable position for high-speed sections.

Carbon frames offer a strong strength-to-weight ratio that helps keep complete bike weights in the typical 30–35 pound range while still resisting trail impacts. Regardless of material, look for robust construction in the frame and linkage because durability is critical for repeated high-intensity hits.

Prioritize long-travel suspension with adjustable damping and lockout options, balanced chainstays around 435–445mm for a mix of agility and stability, and a wheel setup that matches your terrain goals. Those elements together give you the comfort and control needed for long climbs, quick transitions, and technical descents.
