The NDM harness is a four-point elastic strap system that stabilizes the pack against your back to minimize bounce during high-movement sports. By distributing load across the chest and shoulders and allowing controlled stretch, it keeps the pack snug and stable through dynamic motion without shifting independently of your body.
How do USWE packs handle cold-weather hydration so the hose and bite valve don’t freeze?
Many USWE models include a Thermo Cell pocket in the shoulder strap that uses body heat to help insulate the hydration hose and valve, combined with internal hose routing and secure hose clips to keep the line close to the body. That design reduces exposure to wind and cold compared with external hose routing.
