Laid down beneath the Copper Spur before every night out, it puts a durable barrier between the tent floor and whatever the ground has going on, whether that is sharp rock, wet soil, or gritty sand that would otherwise work its way into zippers and seams over time.
The 1200mm PU-coated nylon ripstop is built to take the abuse the tent floor does not have to, and the Tiplok Tent Buckle attachment system configures to the tent quickly and stays secure through the night. The extended bikepack-specific cut covers the vestibule areas as well as the tent floor, giving you a clean surface to set down gear, shed muddy shoes, and keep the inside of the tent from turning into a dirt situation by the second night. Fast Fly configuration support means the footprint can also pull double duty as a standalone shelter when the conditions allow.
