The Mantra Decon Snowboard smooths out the learning curve fast
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I picked up the Mantra Decon for a friend who was just starting out, and the softer flex made her first few days on the mountain feel way less intimidating. The rocker profile kept turns forgiving even when her weight ended up in the wrong spot. It is the board I point beginners toward when they want to build real confidence fast."
The Arbor Mantra Decon Snowboard is built for the first few seasons, when every run still feels like a small discovery. We start on a mellow groomer, easing into turns as the parabolic rocker profile smooths out the rough edges of learning, and by the end of the day we are chasing slightly steeper terrain with a little more nerve than we started with. It is a board that meets a rider exactly where they are, rocker for forgiveness and just enough shape to keep progress feeling natural.
A Highland core built on a balanced Poplar and Paulownia blend keeps the flex soft and approachable underfoot, while Grip Tech contact points and recycled steel edges add a level of hold that makes early turns feel more secure than expected. The extruded base is easy to maintain at home, one less thing to worry about while the focus stays on stacking days and building skill. Every part of this build points toward the same goal, making the learning curve feel a little shorter.

Phantom Glide By DPS Skis
This snowboard is compatible with Phantom Glide, the long-lasting base treatment from DPS Skis. Backcountry technicians apply and UV-cure it before the board ships, so it arrives ready to ride with no waxing needed.
How It Works
Applied By Backcountry Techs
Backcountry technicians treat and UV-cure every board in the shop before it leaves the warehouse, so it arrives ready to ride with no setup required.
Glide That Outlasts Wax
Wax sits on top of the base and wears off in a few days. Phantom Glide bonds into the base, so glide stays fast and consistent from cold powder to spring slush.
No More Wax Days
Phantom Glide replaces scraping, ironing, and shop visits with a quick base cleaning using the Phantom Glide Base Care Kit. The formula is made without PFAS.
