Thread trees, lap groomers, and chase powder on the Formula Snowboard
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I took the Formula out on a mixed bag day, tight trees in the morning and open groomers after lunch, and it handled both without ever feeling like a compromise. The rocker profile made quick direction changes through the trees feel almost effortless. This has become the board I recommend to friends who want one board that can genuinely do it all."
The Arbor Formula Snowboard is at its best on the mornings when we cannot decide what kind of day we want to have. We start in the trees, letting the parabolic rocker profile help us slip through tight gaps and quick turns, then head straight for the groomers once the sun clears the ridge. It is a board that adapts to the moment instead of asking us to plan around it, equally happy carving corduroy or ducking into a stash of leftover powder.
Grip Tech contact points and recycled steel edges keep us locked in no matter how the snow changes underfoot, from packed morning runs to softer afternoon snow. A Highland II wood core adds just enough snap to keep things playful without feeling twitchy, and the directional twin shape gives us a little extra room to experiment with switch riding when the mood strikes. It all adds up to a board built less for one specific mission and more for a full day spent exploring everything the mountain offers.

Phantom Glide By DPS Skis
This snowboard is compatible with Phantom Glide, the long-lasting base treatment from DPS Skis. Backcountry technicians apply and UV-cure it before the board ships, so it arrives ready to ride with no waxing needed.
How It Works

Applied By Backcountry Techs
Backcountry technicians treat and UV-cure every board in the shop before it leaves the warehouse, so it arrives ready to ride with no setup required.

Glide That Outlasts Wax
Wax sits on top of the base and wears off in a few days. Phantom Glide bonds into the base, so glide stays fast and consistent from cold powder to spring slush.

No More Wax Days
Phantom Glide replaces scraping, ironing, and shop visits with a quick base cleaning using the Phantom Glide Base Care Kit. The formula is made without PFAS.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Arbor Formula Snowboard length should I choose for my weight?
The 152cm suits 110–190 lb, the 155cm 120–200 lb, the 158cm 126–206 lb, and the 161cm 130–210+ lb. Choose shorter for easier turning or longer for more stability and float. How does the Arbor Formula’s Parabolic Rocker perform across resort terrain?
The Parabolic Rocker blends five radii through the nose and tail for easier turn release and forgiving handling in variable snow. Its all-mountain setup suits groomers, mixed resort terrain, jumps, and moderate powder. What construction gives the Arbor Formula its snap and edge hold?
The Highland II Core combines poplar and paulownia, while Biax Fiberglass and Triax Fiberglass reinforce the build. Grip Tech contact points and recycled steel edges support edge hold across changing snow. Will my boots and bindings fit the Arbor Formula Snowboard?
The standard widths are approximately 252–261 mm at the waist, so compare your boot outsole with the board width to assess overhang. Standard snowboard bindings using Arbor’s board mounting pattern are compatible. How should I maintain the Arbor Formula’s sintered base?
The sintered base benefits from regular hot waxing to maintain speed across mixed terrain. Dry the board after riding and store it cool and dry with a storage wax layer for the offseason.
