Designed by absoluteBLACK for Boost-spaced SRAM direct mount cranksets, it smooths out power delivery so we can stay seated longer and keep momentum when traction is limited. On modern trail and enduro bikes, that smoother cadence adds up to real efficiency over the course of a ride.
The oval profile reduces dead spots in the pedal stroke, extending usable power through the drive phase and helping control torque on steep, uneven terrain. Narrow-wide teeth hold the chain securely through rough sections, while the direct mount interface improves stiffness and simplifies the drivetrain. CNC-machined from 7075 aluminum and finished for durability, the ring balances low weight with the strength needed for aggressive riding, all while maintaining a Boost-specific 3mm offset for proper chainline.
