The threaded body and lead screw are constructed from cromoly steel with a low-friction PVD coating, delivering a smooth, consistent turn even under heavy load. A freely rotating, shock-rated steel pin reduces wear during repeated installs, while large handles provide leverage and comfort across a wide range of chain types. The interchangeable mid plate system allows the chain cradle to be swapped as standards evolve, keeping the tool relevant as drivetrains change.
