When we’re building a bike meant to handle everything from long alpine climbs to fast, technical descents, the SB140 Frame is an easy choice. Yeti designed this chassis to stretch the definition of a trail bike, giving us a platform that climbs efficiently, rails corners, and stays composed when the trail turns rough. It’s the kind of frame we build when we want one bike to confidently handle huge days in the mountains.
The TURQ carbon construction balances stiffness and compliance for a precise ride feel while keeping weight low. Yeti’s Switch Infinity suspension platform pairs with the included Fox Factory Float X shock to deliver impressive small-bump sensitivity, a supportive mid-stroke, and a controlled end-stroke when the terrain gets rowdy. A patented compact wishbone shock extender optimizes leverage rate and packaging while improving standover clearance and shock compatibility. Internal cable routing keeps things quiet, a threaded bottom bracket simplifies maintenance, and the Universal Derailleur Hanger interface keeps drivetrain replacements easy wherever the ride takes us.
