The OFF AIR 6 shares its 6061-T6 butted and hydroformed aluminum frame with the OFF 6, with the F1RST hydraulic air suspension fork as the defining difference. At 90mm of travel, it handles more demanding terrain than the smaller OFF AIR models, and the air spring pressure can be tuned to the rider's actual weight so the fork performs as intended rather than running too stiff for a lighter teen. Adjustable compression and rebound damping let a parent or experienced rider dial in the fork behavior to the trail, and the lockout firms things up for pavement or smooth hardpack. The dropper seatpost-ready frame, SRAM X5 9-speed drivetrain with 11-36T cassette, Promax hydraulic disc brakes at 160mm front and rear, and Schwalbe Rocket Ron 26 x 2.35" tires complete a build that reflects what a progressing rider in this age range actually needs on serious terrain.
