No training wheels needed. The woom GO 2 is where 3 year olds go from gliding to pedaling
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"Parents who've had their kid on a balance bike first are always amazed at how fast this transition goes. The GO 2 is designed around that moment, light enough for a three year old to control independently, with hand brakes sized for small fingers and geometry that makes the leap from gliding to pedaling feel completely natural."
woom designed the GO 2 specifically around the balance bike to pedal bike transition, and the spec choices reflect that. At just over 12 pounds, it is light enough for a child aged 3 to 4.5 to handle independently and easy enough for a parent to grab and carry when little legs give out mid-ride. The 80mm cranks are child-specific, keeping the Q-factor narrow so small legs move naturally without awkward splaying. A full chainguard protects hands and clothing from the chain, and the steering limiter keeps handling stable while instincts develop. Two independently operated hand brakes are sized for small fingers, and the ABC fit guide on both the bars and seatpost makes dialing in the right position easy.
Heads up - We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning-and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
