At just one and a half pounds, it packs into a stuff sack small enough to drop to the bottom of any ultralight kit without rearranging your priorities.
Western Mountaineering filled the MegaLite 30F Sleeping Bag with 850+ fill power ethically sourced goose down arranged in continuous baffles that let you shift insulation toward colder zones as temperatures drop through the night. The 12-denier ripstop nylon shell is as light as it gets while still breathing well and handling the inevitable condensation of a backcountry camp. A top draft collar with adjustable draw closure seals cold air out at the shoulders without the weight of a full hood, and an insulated draft tube along the full-length YKK zipper closes off any remaining gaps. Made entirely in the USA at Western Mountaineering's San Jose facility, this is a bag built to last through years of serious use.
