The North Face builds this bag around universal-design principles, replacing a zipper with a smooth FIDLOCK magnetic closure that makes getting in and out easy from a seated or reclined position. Inside, tactile silicone accents guide our hands to key adjustments in low light, helping us settle in without searching for hidden hardware.

Two folding wings give us three warmth settings: the lighter wing for mild nights, the heavier wing for added insulation, or both together when temps dip toward the bag’s 20°F rating. When both wings are in use, we choose the next-to-skin feel we prefer—either the warmer, heavier panel or the cooler, lighter one. A supportive hood keeps our pillow stable, and the roomy, insulated footbox maintains warmth long after we crawl in.
