We trust the Shimano GF800GTX MTB Flat shoe to give us enhanced comfort, performance, and protection on the bike when the conditions are less than optimal. The Shimano GF800GTX is a premium flat pedal mountain bike shoe with protection and comfort features and an integrated GORE-TEX sock liner to help keep water, dirt, and debris out of our shoe. A reinforced toe cap protects against rock strikes, and an EVA midsole and shank plate absorb impacts, provide stiffness for power transfer, and combine with Shimano's TORBAL 2.0 torsional midsole for excellent edge flexibility when cornering. A BOA dial closure system makes for an effortless and secure closure, and Shimano's Ultread GE rubber compound provides exceptional grip in cold and wet conditions.
