Scott Spark RC Expert brings race speed to technical singletrack
The Scott Spark RC Expert mountain bike carries the fifth-generation HMF Carbon frame anchoring Scott's cross-country racing platform, refined in layup and geometry alongside the brand's pro team. The rear shock sits horizontally above the bottom bracket instead of standing upright in the seat tube, lowering the center of mass for a planted feel through rock gardens and off-camber turns. A headset that rotates to adjust head angle by a half degree in either direction lets us dial the front end for a quicker feel on tight singletrack or added stability at speed.
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I flip the TwinLoc lever to lockout on a seated climb and the rear end stops bobbing, then flick it back to open before the trail tips down and the suspension is already working through the rough stuff. One lever handles the transition so I never take a hand off the bar to fumble with two separate switches."
Heads up! We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning, and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you'll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearhead® Experts are always here to help.
