Mont Blanc GTX provides durable protection and all-day security on unpredictable terrain
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I like the Mont Blanc GTX for long, technical days where conditions shift constantly. The boot feels solid without being overly stiff, and the ankle support really comes through on uneven ground. The GORE-TEX lining has stayed reliably dry for me, even during slushy shoulder-season missions."
When we’re moving through rough alpine terrain, we want a boot that stays stable, protective, and unfazed by unpredictable weather. The Scarpa Mont Blanc GTX Mountaineering Boot offers that confidence with a rugged build designed for steep slopes, shifting debris, and long days above treeline. Its supportive ankle collar helps us stay balanced on uneven surfaces, while the integrated GORE-TEX membrane keeps our feet dry and comfortable through storms, meltwater, and mixed conditions.
A combination of 3mm suede Perwanger leather and S-Tech fabric creates a durable shell that resists abrasion from rock, ice, and trail wear. Underfoot, the Vibram Essential/Mont outsole delivers high-traction performance for navigating loose scree, exposed ridges, and forest approaches. Paired with a Pro-Fiber 20 insole and PU/TPU midsole, the Mont Blanc GTX cushions long hours on foot while maintaining the structure needed for demanding terrain.
