We hop on the Stigmata CC Red/Force AXS Transmission Gravel Bike when adventure starts where the pavement ends. Santa Cruz builds this generation of the Stigmata with a lightweight, high-strength CC Carbon frame paired with a RockShox Rudy Ultimate XPLR fork for 40mm of front suspension that smooths washboards, roots, and rugged miles. The progressive geometry brings mountain-bike confidence to a drop-bar platform with a long reach, slack head angle, and a front end designed around a short 70mm stem for stability when the road disappears.

The Red/Force AXS Transmission drivetrain transforms how we move through varied terrain. A 10–52t cassette paired with a 42t Force crankset gives us a massive gear range to spin up steep climbs and open up on long descents. The hangerless X0 Eagle T-Type derailleur stays perfectly aligned and delivers precision shifts under power—meaning no hesitation on punchy rollers or loaded touring miles. The Reserve 25|GR wheels and 45mm Maxxis Rambler tires add efficiency and control, with clearance for up to 50mm rubber when the route gets rougher.

With options to carry up to three bottles and gear for long days out, this Stigmata build blends the efficiency of a road bike with true off-road capability. Fast, confident, and ready for any direction curiosity takes us, it’s a gravel bike built for big rides far from the tarmac.
