We built the Wanderosa Apex Eagle to unlock a kind of gravel riding that simply wasn’t possible before. From the front door to the farthest ribbon of dirt on the map, this bike invites us to dream bigger routes, link rougher roads, and chase adventure without worrying about how far is too far. Salsa’s Wanderosa blends drop-bar speed with trail-ready confidence, letting us push past familiar limits and discover what gravel riding can really be.

At the heart of the Wanderosa Apex Eagle is a high-modulus carbon frame paired with a lightweight full-suspension platform—120mm up front and 110mm in the rear—to smooth washboards, rocky connectors, and fast descents. The flexing-stay design keeps weight and complexity low while maintaining stability at speed. Add the FAZUA Ride 60 drive unit and internal 480Wh battery, and we get quiet, responsive assistance that feels intuitive rather than overpowering. With room for wide tires, smart on-bike cargo mounts, and geometry that balances comfort with control, Wanderosa is our ticket to longer days, bigger loops, and gravel adventures that keep going long after the pavement ends.
