The Driver Prime Sigma Plus MIPS Helmet from Salomon was built for skiers who refuse to let changing light stop their run count. Rather than cramming extra goggles into a jacket pocket, the Motion Shield Advanced visor system moves up and down like a traditional goggle setup, keeping your face protected and your vision sharp whether you're dropping a couloir in flat light or ripping groomers under afternoon sun. Two SIGMA magnetic lenses ship in the box, a Poppy Red for partly cloudy days at 23% VLT and an Ice Blue for shifting conditions at 31% VLT, and swapping between them is an intuitive one-motion move so you never have to cut a lap short.

Underneath the visor, Salomon stacked the protection. The MIPS Brain Protection System works alongside EPS4D and Smart Safety 360 to handle both vertical and oblique impacts, while the hybrid shell pairs an injected ABS upper with a lightweight in-mold lower to keep ventilation flowing. The BOA Fit System micro-adjusts around your head for a locked, comfortable hold, and the FIDLOCK magnetic buckle lets you fasten and release your chinstrap with one hand.
