All-carbon frame and suspension

Rocky Mountain's Smoothwall carbon construction runs through the full frame and rear triangle, with the Smoothlink SL flexstay system handling the 120mm of rear travel. Its suspension rate balances pedaling efficiency with enough small-bump compliance to keep traction on rough XC terrain. The RIDE-4 chip at the rear axle lets you adjust head angle and bottom bracket height with a single Allen key to shift the bike's character from fast and efficient to more planted and confident.

Capable fork and shock

The Fox 34 Float Performance Elite up front runs 130mm of travel with a GRIP X damper, pairing with the Fox Float Performance Elite rear shock for a matched suspension feel across the travel range. Both are performance-tier units with external compression and rebound adjustment, and Rocky Mountain tunes each shock to the specific frame size rather than running a one-size-fits-all setup.

Wireless GX Eagle Transmission

SRAM's GX Eagle Transmission replaces the traditional derailleur hanger with a universal derailleur hanger mount, making the rear end more durable and easier to service. The wireless AXS controller means no derailleur cable to route or tension. The 10-52T cassette covers enough range that the 32T chainring handles anything from long fire road climbs to punchy technical singletrack.
