Bigger wheels roll over bigger obstacles, and on a full-power eMTB that advantage compounds quickly. The Race Face ERA eMTB 29in Boost Wheel was built to make the most of that geometry, pairing the natural roll-over capability of a 29in platform with an eMTB-specific build spec that handles the weight, torque, and repeated hard impacts that motorized riding generates.

The front wheel compliance is tuned 15% stiffer than the standard ERA, keeping the wheel planted and precise through rough, high-speed terrain where the added momentum of a full-power eMTB would push a standard trail wheel off its line. Up front, that means the bigger wheel is doing what it's supposed to — rolling through obstacles with authority rather than deflecting off them. The rear is intentionally overbuilt for sustained torque loading, with 32 larger gauge spokes, a 22.6mm deep rim, and a heavy-duty Vault hub with 3-degree engagement and a reinforced steel axle. Carbon construction keeps the whole package lively and responsive, so the bike handles bigger terrain without feeling like it's working against you lap after lap.
