Rab designed this jacket with Proflex fabric, a waterproof-breathable material that acts like a hardshell but stretches like a softshell, so we can move freely whether we’re skinning, skiing, or scrambling up a ridgeline. A fluorocarbon-free DWR coating sheds light snow and sleet, while fully sealed seams back up its 20K waterproof rating to keep the storm out.

This jacket isn’t just about keeping the weather at bay—it’s about keeping us comfortable on the climb and descent. The 25K breathability rating, paired with rear arm zips, dumps heat quickly when we’re pushing hard. The helmet-compatible hood, articulated sleeves, and adjustable cuffs all keep us dialed in for changing conditions, while a suite of five pockets ensures our essentials are always close at hand.
