The Borealis Alpine Hooded Jacket is designed for vertical pursuits, balancing wind resistance, breathability, and unrestricted movement. Built with Rab’s Matrix™ softshell fabric, it blocks biting gusts while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape, keeping us comfortable as we push upward.

Designed with climbers in mind, this softshell features a low-profile, under-helmet hood and a harness-compatible chest pocket for easy access to essentials mid-ascent. Elasticated cuffs and a single-sided hem adjustment ensure a streamlined fit, while the YKK® front zip with a chin guard provides extra protection against wind chill. When the temperature rises, the Borealis Alpine stuffs into its own pocket, clipping easily to our harness for hands-free carrying.
